The Margarita Frappé is a refreshing frozen variant of the classic Margarita cocktail. With its smooth texture and citrus flavor, it is perfect to enjoy on hot days or as a festive drink at gatherings and parties.
Ingredients:
2 oz (60 ml) Raicilla Maltraña
1 oz (30 ml) orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
1 oz (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon agave syrup (optional, to sweeten)
1 cup crushed ice
Lemon slices and salt to decorate the rims of the glasses (optional)
Instructions:
Optionally, you can decorate the edges of the glasses with salt. To make it, rub a piece of lemon around the rim of the glasses, then dip them in a plate with salt to help it adhere.
In a blender, add the Raicilla, orange liqueur, lemon juice, and agave syrup (if you want a sweet touch). If you prefer a less sweet margarita, you can omit the agave syrup.
Add the crushed ice to the blender and blend all the ingredients until you get a smooth, frappe consistency.
Pour the frappe margarita into the previously prepared glasses with salt on the rims (if desired).
Garnish with a lemon wedge on the rim of each glass.
Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing Margarita Frappé.
